This is a 7-week in-person and/or virtual eSports league hosted by Stonewall Sports New Orleans. It is designed to be a fun, social, and welcoming space where people can play, compete, and connect with others in the community.

Not at all. This league is built for all skill levels. Whether you are brand new or experienced, there is a place for you. We also have orientation and coaching sessions on our Discord.

This season will focus on Pokémon Champions, a turn-based game that is easy to learn and accessible for new and experienced players. Seasons will focus on games that are easy to play, available to most, and popular. Different seasons may have different games.

Pokémon Champions will be available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices (phones and tablets). While you don't need a system of your own to play in the league unless you are virtual, to practice players will need a game console or mobile device (phone or tablet).

Not necessarily. NORDC has computers, consoles, and controllers available on-site. You are also welcome to bring your own device if you prefer.

Teams will consist of 3-6 players. Each week, your team will face another team, and each player will play their own 3-4 matches. Your team earns a win based on overall performance.

No problem. You can sign up as a free agent and we will place you on a team.

Each session will run about 3-4 hours. You will typically only play during one matchup each week that lasts an hour, but you are welcome to stay, hang out, and play casually.

We are focusing on separating Summer and Winter leagues to have more casual vs competitive play. This Summer league is more casual and community-focused. There will still be standings and playoffs, but the goal is to have fun, meet people, and build the community.

Life happens. Teams of 3-6 give some flexibility, and we will work with teams to keep things moving if someone is out.

Anyone 18+ who wants to be part of a welcoming, inclusive community. Stonewall Sports is centered around the LGBTQ+ community and allies.

Yes. While players will be registered, we welcome people to come by, watch, and be part of the community.
