Endymion Saturday

Mardi Gras Tailgate

A Stonewall meetup spot during one of the biggest parades of the Mardi Gras season. Members gather along the parade route to socialize and enjoy the Endymion festivities together. A beloved tradition — recently revived after a COVID-era pause.

Easter Sunday

Gay Easter Parade

Join fellow Stonewall members as we walk together in the Gay Easter Parade. Dress in your Easter best or rep your Stonewall gear as we celebrate community, visibility, and springtime joy. Free for all members to participate — Stonewall covers some throws, and members are encouraged to bring their own.
Second Weekend of June

PrideFest

Stonewall sponsors a booth to secure prime placement at PrideFest. Members table to promote the league, connect with the broader LGBTQ+ community, and sell merchandise to help fund league initiatives. A great way to meet new members and represent the organization.

Second Weekend of June

Pride Parade

One of our biggest annual moments. Members can walk with Stonewall or ride on our float as we celebrate Pride in full color. Rainbow attire or Stonewall apparel encouraged. The organization provides some throws; members are welcome to bring additional items. Float spots are offered first to board members, then to volunteers and highly engaged members.
Summer (Nationals in October)

Nationals Send-Off Party

A high-energy fundraiser and drag show that helps support Stonewall athletes heading to Nationals. Hosted at Oz, with a cover charge and raffles raising funds for traveling players. Features drag performances by local Stonewall members — always a crowd favorite and a great way to cheer on our competitors.

Labor Day Weekend

Decadence Parade

Stonewall participates in the Southern Decadence parade as a walking group. Throws are partially covered by the organization, with members bringing their own additions. Free for all members to join — come out and celebrate with the community.
Seasonal — Each Sport

Opening & Closing Parties

Held at our partner and sponsor venues, these events bring free agents, new players, and returning teams together to kick off or wrap up each sports season. Most consistent for Kickball; other sports like Bowling host parties depending on scheduling. A great way to meet teammates, reconnect, and celebrate the league.

Quarterly

Gaymer Nights

Held once per quarter at American Townhouse, Gaymer Nights is a casual community hangout where members bring consoles, TVs, and board games. Food is often provided, and it's one of the most laid-back and inclusive events on the calendar — no athletic ability required.

Several Times a Year

Dave & Buster’s Spirit Nights

A newer Stonewall tradition pairing a fun night out with fundraising. Pre-sold $20 game cards (with a portion retained by Stonewall) and Spirit Night percentages from food and drink sales help raise funds for Nationals. Dates are set seasonally — watch the calendar for upcoming events.

Mid-October

Halloween Scavenger Hunt

Teams register through LeagueApps for a citywide bar crawl photo hunt. Includes creative clues, themed costumes, and prizes for winning teams and best costumes. Teams have approximately two hours to complete the hunt, culminating in a closing ceremony. Registration fee is approximately $20 per team.

December — Saints Game Day

Saints & Santas

Hosted at a local bar on a New Orleans Saints game day, this event features a free raffle with gift card prizes awarded each quarter of the game. A festive end-of-year tradition bringing members together to root for the Black and Gold.

Year-Round

Movie Nights

Film screenings hosted at The Broad Theater (indoor and outdoor spaces). Tickets are approximately $5 per person, with occasional partnerships offering free member tickets to select local screenings. A relaxed, community-friendly event accessible to all.
