Community Outreach

Beyond the Field. Rooted in New Orleans.

Community Outreach

We are more than a sports league. We are neighbors, advocates, and community partners. Stonewall Sports – New Orleans believes that building a stronger queer community means showing up far beyond the scoreboard — through service, partnerships, and intentional investment in the city we call home.

Our Community Outreach work connects Stonewall members with local nonprofits, mutual aid efforts, and service opportunities across New Orleans. Every cleanup, every donation, every ramp we install in a queer venue is a declaration: we are here, we care, and we are not going anywhere.

"Your support helps us turn connection into action and ensures our impact is felt far beyond the games on the field."

— Topher, Community Outreach Director

How We Show Up

  • Local Partnerships

We actively collaborate with LGBTQ+ nonprofits and community organizations across New Orleans, providing financial support, volunteer power, and visibility to the causes that matter most to our community.

  • Service & Volunteerism

From neighborhood cleanups to hands-on service days, our members show up for New Orleans. We believe that chosen family takes care of its city.

  • Accessibility in the Community

We have worked directly with local queer venues to install wheelchair accessibility ramps, ensuring that LGBTQ+ spaces are truly welcoming to all bodies and abilities. This is ongoing work — and we are committed to expanding it.

  • Investing in Our Community

Stonewall Sports – New Orleans reinvests directly into the local community. From financial contributions to LGBTQ+ nonprofits to funding service initiatives across the city, we are committed to making sure our growth benefits everyone — not just our leagues.

"Everyone deserves to enjoy these spaces without limitations or barriers."

— Steven, Stonewall member
